"If you love it, you should have it!"

Thank you for an amazing SF Open Studios

I want to thank all of you that were able to join me over this past weekend for San Francisco Open Studios at Arc Studios & Gallery in SF. It was an amazing time, and I enjoyed all the conversations with existing and new collectors.  It was also fun to see so many young people out exploring art.  Below are some photographs to give a flavor of the weekend and the event.  If you visited with me during open studios and are interested in making a purchase you can contact me directly or view all available artwork here on my website. Thank you!

John Kraft: "Through the Fire - Remembrance"

I'm happy to share my latest piece, Through the Fire - Remembrance, which was created for the San Francisco Firefighters Cancer Prevention Foundation (SFFCPF). 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of this piece goes to the support the foundation and their efforts.

SFFCPF is dedicated to providing medically approved cancer screenings for the early detection of cancer in both active and retired firefighters.

Back in 2010, I had the honor of being selected as a SF Heart Artist for Heroes and Hearts, which benefits the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation. SFFCPF's President and Chairman of the Board, Tony Stefani, happened to be one of the San Francisco Heroes being honored that same year.

Fast forward to 2015, and I'm thrilled and honored to be working with Tony and SFFCPF.  Please consider purchasing this piece and lending your support. Thank you.

Crooked Street 2012 Malbec

A popular theory suggests that malbec grapes were originally planted throughout France by an adventurous Hungarian peasant. Given the Hungarian blood running through my veins, I am proud to present the 2013 Crooked Street Malbec, produced locally in the Napa Valley by the Hendry Ranch. Although most malbec finds its way into red wine blends, this bottle was produced from the single varietal alone, with nothing to distract you from appreciating what this famous grape has to offer. I hope you enjoy its dark violet color, light-bodied mouth feel, and soft tannin finish. So, as the Hungarians say when they raise their glasses... Egészségére!

New Art: Love Wins

I created Love Wins on the evening of June 26, 2015. This is the day that the United States Supreme Court decided by a 5 to 4 margin that the Constitution's 14th Amendment recognizes a national right to same-sex marriage.

Following the decision, the phrase "Love Wins" became a frequent refrain in the streets, in the press and on social media. In many regards, these two words are the perfect summary of the court's decision and the spirit of that historic day. Learn More!
